The purpose of Crime StoppersAssociation of Edmonton and Northern Alberta is to create a safer and more secure community. Crime Stoppers helps police solve crime by offering tipsters cash and anonymity to motivate them to come forward with information of assistance to the police.

The Neighbourhood Watch Association of St. Albert has developed a Serial Number Registry which the public may use to enter serial numbers of their personal property. Police can search this registry for serial numbers and return recovered stolen property to its rightful owners.
