Neighbourhood Watch street signs can be
placed at community entrances, (roadway or walkway), and large
public areas such as skating rinks or playgrounds. You community
may request as many signs as you require. There is no installation
charge.
The signs are available to all Neighbourhood Watch groups once they
have 25 per
cent block participation. For
example, if your zone has 100 blocks and 25 Block Captains, you
qualify. You must also have a Zone Leader and have had at least one
Neighbourhood Watch presentation.
You must fill out a sign
request form and submit it to the
Neighbourhood Watch program office:

Edmonton, AB T5H 0H7
The first page of the request form gives the
program details of your community and number of signs requested.
The second page is used to give very specific details for the
placement of the signs. Any future problems with sign damage or
request for replacement or relocation of signs should be directed
in writing to the above address.
We would like to thank the Alberta
Motor Association for supplying our street signs and the City of
Edmonton sign shop for installing the signs as requested.
