Downtown Division officers are warning citizens of an increasing trend - criminals using bikes to scout for break-in opportunities in homes, garages and vehicles.

Garage Breakin's an issue in West Endmonton

As predictable as the July rains, so too are an increase in break and enters in residential garages in our City. Between July 1, 2012 and July 15, 2012 in West Division there were 16 garage break and enters, that compares to two the same time in 2011 and 52 theft from vehicles, that compares to 32 the same time in 2011.
