On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, September 30, 2026, Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch (ENW) joins all Canadians in reflecting on the enduring impact of colonialism and honoring the resilience and strength of Indigenous communities. This day is dedicated to acknowledging the historical injustices of residential schools, recognizing the pain endured, and committing to the path of reconciliation.
At ENW, we understand the importance of reconciliation in fostering a truly inclusive and respectful community. As we observe this day, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting Indigenous voices, engaging in meaningful dialogue, and promoting understanding within our neighborhoods.
Join us in observing this important day. Let us come together to honor the past, support the present, and build a future rooted in respect and understanding.
