This volunteer opportunity is great for anyone who likes to plan events, parties or fundraisers, A Special Events Planner will help with planning and completing tasks required when holding events such as the annual appreciation luncheon, silent auction, the Annual General Meeting and training session.
Task include booking rooms, arranging food & beverages, taking RSVPs, copying materials for the attendees, putting together gift bags, organizing binders, working a registration table and/or being a host at an event. Special event volunteers are invited to be part of a planning committee and may be involved with gathering donations for a silent auction or planning a theme for the event. Personal transportation is required for this position.
